High on the slopes of Bali’s Mount Agung sits Besakih Temple (Pura Besakih), widely referred to as the “Mother Temple” of Hinduism in Bali. Besakih temple is a complex of temples that are located in the village of Besakih, District Rendang, Karangasem regency, Bali, Indonesia. Besakih Temple complex consists of a Central temple (Pura Penataran Agung Besakih) and 18 smaller temples (1 Basukian temple and 17 Others). In 1963 Mount Agung, a volcano, erupted and destroyed several nearby villages. Besakih was untouched.

SARONDE ISLAND TOURISM, GORONTALO

Saronde Island is a beautiful uninhabited small island, white sand beach also exotic rocky beach. Saronde island has 1 km (a half miles) long beach. North to the west coast consists of white sand, the south to the east filled with rock neatly arranged and surrounded by beautiful coral reefs.

Kelimutu Lake is located in Kelimutu Mt, a part of Flores National Park. The lake is situated at an altitude of 1.631 meters (5.400 feet) above sea level. This lake is actually the crater of the mountain filled by rain water. Some herbs that can be found around the lake that is “Kesambi” (Schleichera oleosa), Pine, and Edelweiss. Animals around the lake are deer, boar, forest chicken (Gallus Gallus) and eagle.

FOUR FACED BUDHA MONUMENT, SURABAYA

Surabaya has a spectacular tourist attraction in Southeast Asia, the Four Faced Buddha monument. This monument got Indonesian Record Museum (MURI) award as The largest Four Faced Buddha monument in Indonesia. This monument height is 9 meters (29,5 feet) and 225 square meters (2,422 sq feet) area.
